How NOT To Use PLR
Private Label Rights (PLR) are the answer to the need for content rich products. PLR is great for your ezine, newsletter, and Special Reports.
But there are ways you should NEVER use PLR – ways that will dilute the value of the product and can tarnish your reputation as a marketer.
Some of these ways to never use PLR may seem common sense, but you’ll still find people trying to take the road of least resistance. And the road of least resistance leads to products which hold no value. Your reputation hinges on your ability to provide quality content that your customers find beneficial.
So, the first way not to use PLR is to submit the articles directly to article directories without rewriting the entire product. Good article directories will provide you with targeted traffic. This is a resource you should treat well. If you submit a PLR article to the directory and others do as well you will be flagged as using duplicate content. Your account will most likely be terminated. You will not be able to use that directory again.

Another way that PLR can get your business into trouble is by using the content in a way that is expressly forbidden by the Terms Of Service of the membership or author. The membership should have the way in which you can use the content laid out so that even your 10-year-old nephew can figure it out. If there aren’t clear guidelines do not just ignore the issue. The author can come back and cause trouble with your hosting company and with your business.
Ask. Just send an email and ask about the specific way in which you want to use the content. Want to record it for a CD but that contingency isn’t covered? Send an email, ask for a response – don’t move ahead with the project until you get one.
Along similar lines don’t give away the product, or resell rights with the sale, unless you are expressly given that right. Again these rights will be outlined in the Terms Of Service.
Does the list of ‘don’ts’ seem small? It is! That’s because PLR has a great deal of flexibility and potential. Follow the simple rules of rewriting for article submission or compilation into an ebook (to add value to the product) and following the Terms Of Service.
At PLR-Health-Wizard you have a generous Terms Of Service and research bullet points that make rewriting your articles simple and easy.
